Building a Buffer

Publishing several episodes ahead of your current episode can help make a publishing schedule easier to manage. It can help Creators stay on schedule, even when taking a break.

Uploading episodes regularly can be difficult, and remembering to upload at a specific time can be even more challenging.

That’s why CANVAS offers the Scheduling Tool to help make it easy to manage a consistent publishing schedule, or stay ahead of your schedule.

How to schedule episodes

When you’re uploading a new episode, you’ll have 2 options to publish your episode.

Immediately

This option will publish your episode right away. So make sure you’re ready to go live at that moment.

Schedule for later

This option lets you choose a future date and time for when you want your episode to go live.

Be sure to keep your local time zone in mind. The scheduling clock is set to your device's time. You can double check the time zone, click the (?) next to Time Zone on the episode scheduling tool.

If you’re scheduling your episodes, make sure they are organized in chronological order.

Cancel an episode

If you accidentally schedule an episode for the wrong day or wrong time, click “cancel” to halt publishing.
