1. What's the difference between ORIGINALS and CANVAS?
CANVAS is WEBTOON’s self-publishing platform, where creators manage everything related to their series. ORIGINALS are stories that are developed for the WEBTOON platform. Creators work with our editorial staff to optimize their content!
2. I just published my series, why can't I find it on the search bar?
The search information on WEBTOON gets updated in batches. Please allow at least 20-30 minutes for your series title and creator name to be searchable on the desktop site and mobile app.
Please keep in mind that our search function includes all authors and titles included in the search term. As such, a search will include all series and creators that include those individual words.
3. Is there any information on how a CANVAS series can be greenlit?

4. Can I pitch my series to the WEBTOON staff?
The best way to pitch your webcomic is by uploading your series on WEBTOON CANVAS! We typically do not accept pitches, and the WEBTOON team is always looking through series on CANVAS to greenlight as an ORIGINAL.
5. How do I request a Content Review?
Submit a request to our Community Support team and include attachments of what you would like reviewed. If you're unsure about certain themes or images in an episode on your series, request a Content Review to avoid having your episode being reported or taken down.
6. Someone is posting my series on WEBTOON without my permission. What can I do?
If someone is uploading your series on WEBTOON without your permission, please get in touch with our Community Support team and provide us with the following information:
• Name of the infringing Series
• URL of the infringing Series
• Proof of ownership of content (i.e. link to original posting or PSD file)
We will review your report and take the necessary actions.
7. How do I delete an episode on my CANVAS series?
1. Click on your account and select 'Dashboard'
2. On the series you want to delete episode(s) click on 'Edit Episode'
3. From there you will see a list of all your episode(s). Locate the episode you want to delete, and select 'Delete'
4. Once you click 'Delete' you will see the following pop up
In order to delete the episode, you must click on the 'checkmark' confirming that you understand the episode will be deleted and can never be restored. Once you have confirmed, you will be able to click 'Delete' and your episode will be deleted.
5. Your episode has now been deleted. If you experience any issues with this process, please email creatorsupport@webtoon.com
8. How do I delete my series on CANVAS?
1. Click on your account and select 'Dashboard'
2. Select which series you want to delete by clicking on 'Delete'
3. If you are opted into any of WEBTOON's monetization program(s), such as the Ad Revenue Sharing Program and/or Super Like Program, you must first unsubscribe
4. If you are not opted into any of WEBTOON's monetization program(s), you will see the following pop-up after clicking 'Delete'
In order to delete your series, you must type 'Delete series.' Once you have typed 'Delete series' in the text box, you will be able to click 'Delete' and your series will be deleted.
5. Your series has now been deleted. If you experience any issues with this process, please reach out via email to creatorsupport@webtoon.com
